Job Summary

Westminster Academy is looking for an English language teacher for its private school in Reggio Calabria, Italy, from October 16, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The 25-hour weekly schedule usually runs on weekday afternoons and evenings and includes learners of all ages and levels, along with Cambridge exam preparation. Applicants need native-level English, a CELTA, three years of experience, Cambridge preparation experience, and the legal right to work in Italy. The school offers €1,300 net per month, paid school holidays, help finding accommodation, and the possibility of a renewed contract.

Westminster Academy is recruiting a creative and experienced teacher for children, teenagers, and adults at its private language school in southern Italy. Lessons cover a range of levels and include Cambridge English preparation from Young Learners through Proficiency.

Contract dates: October 16, 2026–June 30, 2027

Responsibilities

Plan and teach lessons for learners of different ages and proficiency levels
Prepare students for Cambridge English examinations
Attend occasional meetings and training sessions
Participate in special English activities and field trips during normal working hours

Requirements

Native-level English
CELTA qualification
Three years of teaching experience
Experience with Cambridge exam preparation and knowledge of CEFR levels
Basic office-computing skills and experience with an online teaching platform such as Google Meet
Valid EU passport or Italian residence card

Salary and Benefits

€1,300 net per month
25-hour workweek, normally Monday–Friday between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.
