Joy Education is seeking English teachers for its established language schools in Shenyang. Teachers work with students ages 5–18 using a prepared curriculum and interactive classroom materials, with training and ongoing support from the school’s management team.

Contract: One year

Schedule and Classes

  • 20 teaching hours and four office hours per week
  • Five working days with two consecutive days off
  • Weekday afternoon and evening classes plus weekend classes
  • Kindergarten classes of up to 15 students
  • Elementary classes of up to 20 students
  • No additional administrative workload

Requirements

  • Native English speaker from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
  • Eligibility for a legal Chinese Z work visa
  • Responsible, energetic, creative, and comfortable teaching children and teenagers
  • Ability to complete a one-year contract

Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Applicants outside China are welcome, and full training is provided.

Compensation and Benefits

  • RMB 15,000–16,000 per month after tax, depending on experience
  • RMB 500 monthly attendance bonus
  • RMB 16,000 annual contract bonus based on attendance and performance
  • RMB 500 base-pay increase every six months
