HeadStart to Success Academy is seeking an English teacher for its established language school in Luodong, approximately one hour from Taipei. Classes emphasize practical communication through conversation, games, discussions, projects, phonics, reading, and real-world English.

Classes and Schedule

  • Students range from young learners to teenagers and adults
  • At least 20 guaranteed teaching hours per week
  • Most classes take place on weekday afternoons and evenings
  • Some Saturday-morning classes
  • Small class sizes
  • Curriculum and teaching materials provided

Requirements

  • Ability to meet Taiwan’s legal work-permit requirements
  • Energetic and engaging classroom presence
  • Dependable and punctual approach to work
  • Ability to manage a classroom independently and prepare engaging lessons
  • Openness to feedback and professional development
  • Interest in building relationships with students and making a meaningful commitment to the school

Teaching experience is preferred, but the school also emphasizes reliability, attitude, and the ability to connect with students.

Salary and Benefits
