ILA Vietnam is recruiting full-time expatriate teachers for its network of more than 70 language centers. Named locations include Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Ba Ria–Vung Tau, Rach Gia, Bien Hoa, Da Nang, and Can Tho. Placement depends on vacancies, and a teacher’s preferred city cannot be guaranteed.

Requirements

  • Native English proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree from a program lasting at least three years
  • Recognized English-language teaching qualification of at least 120 hours, such as TEFL Level 4 or higher, AVSE TESOL, CELTA, Trinity, or equivalent
  • Teaching practice or experience strongly preferred
  • At least three years of documented English-teaching experience is compulsory for work in Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Vung Tau

Responsibilities

  • Prepare communicative lessons across levels using the ILA Young Learner syllabus and Teacher Handbook
  • Adapt and supplement project lessons and connect them to the academic program
  • Give constructive feedback and assist with placement tests and classroom allocation
  • Maintain registers, lesson plans, assessments, and other academic records
  • Share teaching resources and complete reasonable duties assigned by academic management

Compensation and Support

  • Advertised average income of up to VND 500,000 per hour for new teachers; this is not a guaranteed base rate
  • Sign-on bonus of up to VND 10,000,000, subject to terms and conditions
