St. Andrew Kindergarten is seeking a patient and energetic English teacher for its program in Zhubei, Hsinchu. Most teaching is with children ages 2–6, with an additional 9–10 hours per week devoted to elementary students.

Start date: Immediate

Contract: Two years

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Teaching blocks generally run from 9:00–11:30 a.m. and 1:00 or 2:00–5:00 p.m.
  • Kindergarten and elementary learners

Requirements

  • Native English speaker with a passport from a country where English is an official language
  • Passion for early-childhood education
  • Patient, positive teaching style
  • Ability to manage a classroom independently

A TEFL or TESOL certificate or valid teaching licence is preferred. Applicants already living in Taiwan with a valid ARC or APRC are also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • NT$62,000–NT$66,000 per month
  • NT$12,000–NT$20,000 performance-based mid-contract bonus
  • NT$24,000–NT$40,000 performance-based completion bonus

  • ARC and work-permit sponsorship when needed
