Awesome Academy is seeking a full-time teacher for its multicultural student community in Kuala Lumpur. This is an on-site position with additional hybrid-teaching and digital-content responsibilities for an educator interested in combining classroom work, technology, and course development.

Contract: Two years, renewable

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging face-to-face and hybrid English classes for learners of different ages and levels
  • Manage classroom and online participants during hybrid lessons
  • Prepare lesson plans, syllabuses, assessments, and teaching materials
  • Monitor attendance, academic progress, and student participation
  • Develop online English courses and multimedia learning resources
  • Record professional English lessons and educational videos
  • Participate in selected school events, workshops, excursions, and promotional content
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and professional-development activities

Requirements

  • At least three years of ESL teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, English Literature, TESL, TESOL, Linguistics, or another relevant field
  • TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent professional teaching certificate
  • Strong lesson-planning, classroom-management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Confidence using classroom technology and teaching on camera
  • Ability to work with students from varied cultural and educational backgrounds

A relevant master’s degree, online or hybrid teaching experience, curriculum-design experience, and familiarity with learning-management systems are advantages.

Schedule and Benefits

  • Full-time schedule of either 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., depending on the contract
